Weekend festival is eye candy on the lakeshore
Activities are all part of the event which this year falls on the weekend of Father's Day.
The festival will take place under the canopy of trees along the pristine shore of White Lake at Goodrich Park, and organizers, it is attended by thousands each year.
"What makes our festival so special is location, location, location," said Amy vanLoon Chamber of Commerce White Lake. "Who would not want to go for a nice walk in the park along the water with a beautiful view of White Lake?"
Participants will be able to browse the many colorful stalls featuring artists and their art of high quality and craftsmanship. Highlights include jewelry, wood furniture, birdhouses, pottery, garden items, clothing, paintings, prints, folk art, leather goods, floral designs, stained glass, signs, toys Children and bath items. Some local artists will also display and sell works that include watercolors, photographs, textiles, ceramics, glass and oil pastels.
