I know Wal-Mart sells cheap silverware separately or in small groups, can anyone tell me the price of it? I'm not talking about boxed sets, just open stock. I need a bunch for Thanksgiving. Thanks!
the cheapest is 4/$1 or sometimes even 6/$1. With 3 kids and several more over all the time I buy a lot of it for them to use. It holds up really well and looks nice to.
Buy it now "People of Walmart" bit.ly on iTunes! I couldn't resist. These people were basically asking me to write a song about them ...
The spread of Wal-Mart is somewhat of a phenomenon. Since its birth in Arkansas back in 1962, its worldwide growth has been staggering. Seeing the ...

Walmart pursues planned West Milwaukee supermarket-discount store
A Walmart combined supermarket and discount store is being proposed for a West Milwaukee site that now has a largely vacant strip retail center, and some industrial buildings.
The site is about a two blocks east of Miller Park Way, and north of W. Greenfield Ave.
Gatlin Development Co. has the site controlled under pending purchase contracts, Walmart spokeswoman Lisa Nelson told me. Gatlin would build the store and lease it to Walmart.
The site is now occupied by a mostly vacant strip retail center, once anchored by a Sentry supermarket, and buildings used by Wisconsin Steel Industries, Nelson said. The Walmart would be on both sides of what is now S. 41st St., a portion of which would be vacated to accommodate the development.
The proposed 144,000-square-foot store will be the subject of an open house presentation, which will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the West Milwaukee Community Center, 1345 S. 47th St., said Ron Hayward, village president.
Downtown Notes: Events Center, Mini-Wal-Marts, Dell - Madville Times
As I consider various plans to rejuvenate Madison’s downtown, various bits of downtown news roll across my desk:
Sioux Falls Event Center: On a 5–4 vote , the Sioux Falls City Council voted last night to build the fabled Events Center at the Arena site rather than downtown. Let’s see how that affects Mayor Huether’s 69% approval rating .
Mini-Wal-Marts: In what ought to be an oxymoron, Wal-Mart is trying out a new store model: small stores . These Wal-Mart Expresses will be 15,000 square feet, a tenth the size of a Super Wal-Mart. They are meant to tackle dollar store competitors in areas where Wal-Mart isn’t already making lots of money. The stores will also serve as delivery hubs for Wal-Mart’s online shoppers....
Walmart's Family Movie Night Takes on Bullying in 'Field of Vision ...
“Field of Vision,” the sixth installment of the Family Movie Night initiative, portrays the impact of one student’s courage to stand up against his best friend who is bullying a new student.
Tyler McFarland (Tony Oller) is not only the star quarterback in his school, but he also excels in almost every other thing he does. He is smart, dedicated, loving, and most importantly, has strong moral values.
Through a magical camera that can show visions (the magical part is never fully explained), McFarland learns that the transfer student and orphaned teen, Cory Walker (Joseph Adler), has been bullied by his teammates since his first day of class.
But McFarland wrestles with what to do, because should he reveal his teammates’ actions to the coach, then his friendships will be adversely affected and it could cost the football team the state championship.
